Quality check - air under water pressure test - stainless steel strainers

Air under water pressure test method is suited where our stainless steel strainers undergo batch testing at required pressure. The assembled hygienic strainers are placed on a test bed and clamped down. All apertures are suitably sealed. The strainers are lowered into specially fabricated stainless steel water tanks and the pressurized air is introduced into the strainer.

 

Any leak can be visually identified by the presence of bubbles. Air-under-water is optically sensitive and a perfect quality checking method of leak detection.

Our testing capabilities accommodate both long strainers and short strainers comfortably.

Sanitary strainers are ideal for particulate removal or prefiltration in the processing of foods, beverages, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and other critical compounds. Stainless steel strainers are available in in-line and side-inlet/side-entry configurations. Side-inlet design makes it possible to clean housing and change screens without disconnecting the strainer from the process line.

Stainless Steel Hygienic Strainers and Filters

The Hygienic Standards were originally created by the dairy industry as a voluntary benchmark for hygienic safety. The standards are still developed collaboratively by a group of processors, suppliers, and sanitation specialists. 

Stainless steel strainers can be used in a variety of industries including food, dairy, beverage, pharmaceutical, meat, poultry and cosmetics. The units specially designed dual taper allows for improved flow rates and better drainage, eliminating pooling.

Strainers are designed to remove particles from liquid or gas efficiently. Using a disposable medium of cloth type material or stainless mesh allowing filtering/straining of fine to coarse particles. Strainers are equipped with a squeeze clamp making assembly and disassembly easier.

Stainless Steel Strainers

Stainless Steel Strainers are manufactured in 316L stainless steel and are self draining designed typically for the food and beverage industries where a very high surface finish is necessary to eliminate hold-up of fluid. These stainless strainers come with clamp ends (Stainless Steel Clamp Strainers) or any other hygienic end fittings.

Stainless Steel In-line strainers and side-entry strainers come in Short and Long styles.
